KA0SBOT offers 3 tiers of kit claiming through the Quick Chat Wheel in Rust:
- Free Kit – available to all players (does not require linking)
- VIP Kit – available to players who have VIP in game (requires linking)
- Elite Kit – available to players on the elitelist (requires linking)
By default there is 1 free kit, 1 VIP kit, and 44 elitekits. Kits need to be created on the rust server and are not provided by KA0SBOT. The Kit Builder provides a quick and simple way to generate the kit codes for the console, but you can also use the in-game kit manager and the vending machine to create kits. You can use /givekit to manually give your players any kit you have created in rust.
It is possible to turn elitekits into freekits by turning elitekit_uselist on. See Elite Kits for more.
A second freekit also exists but cannot be used at the same time as elitekit6.
For elitekit23 onwards, use I’m Out Of Ammo on the Quick Chat Wheel first, then the Quick Chat Wheel option for the kit you want to claim. For example: I’m Out of Ammo -> I Need Scrap = elitekit25
