Role Automation & Lists

Many features of KA0SBOT have lists that you can add players to which allows or bans them from using the feature.

/add-to-list is the most direct way to add a player to the list of your choosing:

This configuration would add the player to the zorpallowlist which would allow them to use ZORP in game.

/remove-from-list is the most direct way to remove a player from the list of your choosing:

This configuration would remove the player from elitelist1 meaning they can no longer use I Need Stone to claim elitekit.

These command functions can also be automated using discord roles. Once the role is created, simply adding or removing the role from a user on discord will add/remove them from the associated list:

Elite Kit Roles

  • [kitname]-[server]
  • EXAMPLE: elitekit5-1
    • Player is added to elitelist5 on server 1 and can now claim elitekit5 in game.

VIP Roles

  • VIP-[server]
  • EXAMPLE: VIP-1
    • Player is given VIP in game on server 1.

ZORP Roles

  • ZORP-[server]
  • EXAMPLE: ZORP-all
    • Player is added to zorpallowlist on all servers and can now use ZORP in game.

Dial-A-Ride Roles

  • rider-[server]
  • EXAMPLE: rider-2
    • Player is added to riderslist on server 2 and can now spawn a vehicle in game.

Teleport Roles

  • [tpname]-[server]
  • EXAMPLE: tpn-3
    • Player is added to tpnlist on server 3 and can now teleport in game.

Note: Head to discords website for more information on creating roles on discord.

Use /get-list to see which players have been added to the list.

STILL NOT ON THE LIST?

If you’ve given someone a role but they are not on the list here are some commands that can help:

  • For the roles to work, the players must be linked to KA0SBOT using /link
  • The sync commands will make KA0SBOT check all players for roles and update the lists accordingly:
    • /sync-me (the player can use this command in discord to sync their own roles)
    • /sync-target (used by kaosadmin and kaosmod to sync a players roles for them_
